Many good people do bad things, but in Love Me, Hate Me by Jeff Pearlman Barry Bonds did a very horrible thing by using steriods. First of all, Barry Bonds is a good person and has set many records as a baseball player. One record the book talks about is how he won seven most valuable player awards. Next, a lot of people do bad things, but media puts things out of proportion when a celebrity does something bad. I'm not saying taking steriods is good, but Barry Bonds taking steriods does not harm anyone else. Finally, the bad part of the steriods is it sets a bad example for kids. Kids or even young adults try and "copy" athletic figures and a lot of the time they are the bad things that athletes do. Truly, Barry Bonds taking steriods was a bad thing done by a good person.
